Little Red Schoolhouse

Our Approach

Philosophy

Little Red Schoolhouse (LRSH) will focus on the child as a whole and as an individual. With a focus on social-emotional growth, we will help children to learn and develop in all areas of development. Little Red Schoolhouse will help the children to respect themselves, others and the environment around them. We will use the environment around us to teach the children life skills to help them be successful in everything they do.

Portrait of Jolanda Bardhi

Jolanda Bardhi

I was born in Korce, Albania and came to Colorado in 2013. I am married and have two boys — Dejvis (11) and Alvin (8). I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping and vacations. I have been at Little Red for almost 3 years. I love being with children each day; they are learning at such a fast rate and come up with some great ideas. At Little Red I also love the environment we have created — the triangle of teachers, children and families.

Audrey

Audrey: I was born and raised in Snowmass, Colorado and attended Aspen Community School and Aspen High School, before heading off to Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA where I earned my B.A. in Psychology. With a strong focus in childhood development I believe that this background will allow me to bring a thoughtful, supportive approach to early childhood education by creating environments where children feel safe, seen and excited to explore. I have always been passionate about working with children, and I strive to foster spaces that encourage curiosity, confidence and connection. Growing up in the Roaring Fork Valley instilled in me a deep appreciation for community and the outdoors, both of which I see as essential to a child’s growth and learning. Incorporating both will help children build meaningful connections with both their environment and one another.
